It is often felt that our academic systems spend too little effort on good students, with the result that many remain “good” and do not transcend to becoming “great”. This session is meant for “good” students in IIIT-D, who would like to move towards greatness. (Who is “good”? If you feel you are good, then you are “good” – you can use any measure you would like.)
On Feb 3 during the seminar slot, we are planning a discussion on “good to great” in which we plan to invite some senior faculty members from IITD who will share their views on the attributes of “great” students or “what kind of student they enjoy giving A+ or a strong recommendation to”. The hope is that when some of our “good”students know this, they can find their ways tobecoming great.
Please mark your calendars.
